GHS Fourth in the Country at A Level

A report and league table published by The Times on Thursday 14th January places Guildford High School fourth in the country for A Level results in 2009.

The league table shows A Level results for state and independent schools in England and uses data supplied by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

Mrs Fiona Boulton, Headmistress, commented, “The impressive results which have been achieved at Guildford High School are testament to the girls' hard work and dedication, coupled with the support and commitment of our teaching staff. We are always impressed with our girls' ability to combine their A Level studies with a huge array of other interests, from sports and drama to music and debating. It is immensely rewarding to see their enthusiasm and effort translated into such outstanding results.”
