Pupils, parents and staff at Guildford High School are celebrating fantastic results at GCSE level this summer. Following hot on the heels of an exceptional set of A Level results last week, 92.4% of grades at GCSE are A or A*.

In a year group of 104 girls, 15 girls have achieved straight A*s, with 44 girls securing 8 or more A*s. Mrs Boulton, Headmistress, comments, “We are delighted that the girls have achieved these excellent grades. The results reflect the hard work which all the girls put into their GCSE courses and which are an important preparation for the A Level studies which they will begin next month. Girls in Year 11 always achieve a healthy balance between their academic studies and a huge array of other interests and we wish them all a happy, relaxing end to the holidays and look forward to seeing them next term.”
